I'm easily annoyed by my little brother's "innocence". I hate having to explain things to him when they seem so obvious to me, and I especially hate having to explain to him--over and over again--how the world in general just sucks (in lament terms).

And then I hate myself for having explained to him all these ill workings of human kind, just as much as I'd hate myself if left him ignorant of it. I've destroyed his bliss, but I've destroyed another layer of ignorance so he could eventually become a better person--or just as bloody cynical as everyone else is these days.

Already he's becoming more like me.
